Way Singleton is an Director and Storyboard artist based in Los Angeles.

A graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Animation, Singleton started his animated career journey at Augenblick Studios in New York City as a Production Assistant. There he honed his skill in storyboarding -transforming written stories into dynamic and funny visuals, and bringing to life its characters and narratives.

With a focus in character driven animated stories, Singleton has spent his career contributing to projects at studios such as Disney Television Animation, Nickelodeon Animation, Oddbot Inc, and Wild Canary. His work is defined by its quirky characters, clear-well paced performances, and comedic storytelling.

Passionate about discussing art and animation, he started the Black N Animated Podcast with Breana Williams (later renamed to Keeping You Animated), which explores animation from a Black perspective, paving the road for the next generation of creators.
